Montreal-based alternative-rock gods Arcade Fire know how to write everything from stadium rock anthems to ballads, and nobody can beat them with shifts from major to minor chords. Their early, massive album, 'Funeral' spawned a number of singles, and two of the Neighborhood songs were amongst them - here's the first (single, the song is 'Neighborhood 2 Laika). Laika is of course, the Russian space-dog who was one of the first living creature to orbit the earth (and to perish on re-entry).
This fun cartoon-oriented poster for Neighborhood #2 is nicely at odds with the tragedy of Laika's eventual fate.
